Morning Independent Work:
- Complete the Drawing and Writing page. Choose your favourite sign from the story and draw a picture of you using it. Answer the two questions at the bottom of the page.
- Play the Sign Dice game. Have an adult help you to cut, fold, and tape/glue the dice together. Play the dice game with your family. Roll the dice and practice making the sign that is face up on the dice.
- Play the Sign Flashcards game. Cut out the flashcards. Fold the cards so that you can only see the words or the picture at once. Practice the signs and see how many you can memorize!

- Play the Cooperation Popcorn game. Find a partner (or maybe you want to play with your whole family!). You can make a spinner from the cutout, a pencil, and a paperclip. Cut out the popcorn pieces and put in a container. Spin the spinner and give a compliment, a polite expression, a rule, or an act of kindness. If successful, players take one popcorn kernel from the container. Watch out for a POP! piece. If you get a POP! piece, all players have to put their popcorn kernels back in the container.
